I just wanted to mention something important. Anytime someone does something nice for me, I like to return the favor. I'm good like that. Anyway, not to get off track, but here's an important tid-bit that you can spit out when your buddy says to you, "Hey, how's Clay Rapada doing these days?" You'll be armed with the answer.
Clay signed a minor league deal with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim a few days ago. I wanted to make sure you knew. I also want to make sure you reach out to him and wish him well. According to the Los Angeles Times: "The Angels have signed veteran left-handed relief specialist Clay Rapada to a minor league deal with an invitation to spring training.
Rapada, 32, has a 4.06 earned run average in 152 big league games over seven seasons with six teams — the Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers, Texas Rangers, Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees and Cleveland Indians. He has held left-handers to a .164 average."
