BOONE LOGAN IS ABOUT TO SIGN WITH THE ROCKIES

The Yankees are finally ridding themselves of Boone Logan, it appears.  According to Troy Renck of the Denver Post, "The Rockies are close to signing left-handed reliever Boone Logan to a multi-year contract, according to major league sources.

No deal will be official until the pitcher undergoes a physical, but based on what setupmen have received this winter, Logan is in line for around a three-year, $15 million contract."

Good for Logan if he can get a job somewhere.  I mean, I was always partial to having a guy like Clay Rapada (Read WISH OUR BUDDY CLAY RAPADA WELL...) over a guy like Boone any day of the week, but I guess the Rockies see potential in Logan.

Good luck Boone, don't give up too many homers in Coors Field... the air's thinner, you know.
