GUESS WHO WON THE AL ROOKIE OF THE YEAR AWARD?

I think everyone knew the Angels Mike Trout was going to win the American League Rookie of the Year, right? Well, he did it and he did it unanimously.  All 28 ballots were for Trout. The kid's a freaking bad ass, no other way to describe him.

I just wanted to let everyone know the news, a full news item is HERE about it.  This is a very special kid and he is going to accomplish a lot of great things.  I haven't felt this good about an athlete since Derek Jeter and Jeet will always be the man, long after he retires.  Anyway, it's true... Trout wins. Finishing in second was the Athletics Yoenis Cespedes and third was Yu Darvish. Congrats to all!
