FRAZIER WASN'T TRADED SO LET THE MAN SHINE!

Clint Frazier has value. I mean sure, make the argument that he should be traded. I won't go there. I love the dude. I love the chip on his shoulder. I love that he will mock an audience after the trade deadline, especially if he isn't traded...

And I love the fact that this dude can play. He's athletic. He loves the game and he needs to come up to the big team now! He's doing everything he needs to do with the Railriders. It's time.  And Bleeding Yankee Blue is not the only ones who think so.

Start Spreading the News writes:

"Frankly, I am pleasantly shocked that Frazier is still a Yankee. Based on the fact that Frazier was passed over for promotions at least twice in the last 5 weeks, it was widely assumed that he had fallen in the Yankee pecking order. I, for one, thought it was a dangerous game of chicken that the Yankees were playing by keeping Frazier in AAA prior to the trade deadline - if Frazier was going to be dealt, why keep him in Scranton, risking his body to injury when that body could either provide value to the Major League roster, or gain value in a prospective trade? That decision indicated two things to me: first, the Yankees were serious about trying to help Frazier develop defensively. Secondly, the Yankees were really serious about only being willing to deal Frazier in a deal for a valuable, controllable player. Add it all up, and Frazier is still here. "

Meanwhile, that dinosaur in Pinstripe Alley writes:

"...following a slow start at Scranton, Frazier has been one of the hottest hitters down there. Although his slash line of .247/.299/.610 in the month of July actually pales in comparison to his major-league numbers, it represents a strong bounce back, showing that he has gotten over any post-demotion hangover and has possibly made adjustments at the plate. Lastly, the Yankees have not promoted Frazier in part due to his presence in the rumor mill, not wanting to rip a guy out of the clubhouse as part of a trade if they could help it. Thanks to the single deadline this year, however, Frazier is now here to stay for the remainder of the year. The only way he would likely be removed from the clubhouse, barring injury, would be if Stanton, Gardner, and Voit all return from the IL — which may not happen until rosters expand. And if he hits like he did earlier in the season, he could force the issue and play his way into regular at-bats."

In short, the time is now. Frazier needs to come up.

Many don't like this dude's attitude. They see anger and arrogance. I see a dude ready to burst at the seams because he loves this game.

Play him Yanks.  Time is now!
