"The move was a reciprocal transaction to open a 40-man roster spot for
LHP Aroldis Chapman, whose five-year, $86 million deal with the Yankees
was made official on Thursday....
If Goody is not claimed on waivers, the Yankees will have 10 days to trade or release him or outright him to the Minors."
