MAYBE SORIANO WAS A GOOD IDEA?

I didn't harp on it last night, but I will in this short post because Soriano is a good guy who's had a pretty decent career, despite the strikeouts.

Alfonso Soriano hit 2 home runs last night and not only that, he knocked in 6 runs in the Yankees 14-7 win against the Angels, read HERE.

Soriano's milestone was 2000 hits last night, which is pretty great for him.  He is also 6 homers away from the 400 home run club.

Can you imagine what could happen if he could do that almost every night? Doubtful, but maybe if this Yankee club keeps playing with alittle confidence as they have for the past few days... good things can happen.  I still find it to be ironic that years later, Soriano and Alex Rodriguez are in the same lineup after that trade back in 2004.
