WHITEY FORD & THE IRISH AMERICAN BASEBALL HALL OF FAME

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I just wanted to let you guys know of something very unique.  Whitey Ford, along with Rusty Staub, Joe McEwing, Big Ed Delahanty, Peter O’Malley, former owner of the LA Dodgers; Jimmy Fallon, actor in “Fever Pitch" and actor Charlie Sheen from Major League and Eight Men are all nominees to make the Irish American Hall of Fame this year. The results of the voting will be announced in April and the induction ceremony will take place on Tues, May 7, 2013 at Foley’s NY Pub & Restaurant.

Voters will include past inductees into the IAB HOF and a panel of baseball historians.
