THE BLEEDING YANKEE BLUE NEWSSTAND XIV

ONE OF MY FAVORITE DUDES! Andrew Condell is one of the funniest guys on the Internet. If you haven't seen him, search him, he's hilarious. He sent me this video to post for all you Bleeding Yankee Blue readers on this beautiful Sunday morning.  Why? Because he's a Yankee fanatic like you and me. Enjoy it, share it and laugh, he's got a great delivery.  Also, check out his page ANDREWCONDELL.COM.  I love this dude!
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE:BLEEDINGYANKEEBLUE.COM from Andrew Condell on Vimeo.

THE ROCKET'S BACK: Roger Clemens took the mound for the Suger Land Skeeters yesterday at the age of 50. Read the ABC News report on it HERE. According to ABC News, "Pitching for the first time in five years, Clemens tossed 3 1-3 scoreless innings Saturday night for the Sugar Land Skeeters of the independent Atlantic League.

He faced the Bridgeport Bluefish and struck out two, including former major leaguer Joey Gathright to start the game. He allowed one hit without a walk and threw 37 pitches....Clemens received a standing ovation when he left the game. He stopped to tip his cap to the overflow crowd of 7,724 before heading into the dugout to begin recuperating and see how his body responds to his big night."

Look, it's a publicity stunt and BYB has our own theory on Clemens and why he will be on a major league team this season and what it means for his future...I mean, we're not stupid Roger. Read ROGER CLEMENS HOPES YOU FORGET.  That being said, the guys 50, you have to at least give him alittle credit I guess.

THANK YOU PHIL...AND PHIL! You all remember Phil Stoehr, right? He's the nephew of Phil Rizzuto and he did a terrific interview with BYB a while back titled EXCLUSIVE: WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT PHIL RIZZUTO. Phil's a family friend, so I had to make sure to send him a BYB shirt for his trouble.

He and his daughter were nice enough send a picture of himself back so we can post it on Bleeding Yankee Blue! Thanks Phil, you're the best!

ANGRY MUCH? Remember Wally Backman? I found this video on You Tube. I believe it's part of some documentary. To tell you the truth, I'd love to see it, seems like it would be hilarious.  Anyway, this is Wally Backman trying to psych up his team after the appear to be losing and not playing to the best of their ability.  Love it, but alittle over the top, right? WARNING, the language is VERY VERY DIRTY AND HARSH.

KATE UPTON HAS A BASEBALL CARD NOW:  I guess this is news.  Everyone wants to cash in on Kate Upton, after all, we post about her all the time here.  Apparently USA Today has a news report about Upton and her recent unveiling of her baseball card, read HERE.

According to the report, "The Sports Illustrated cover model is getting a Topps trading card in the Allen & Ginter's World Champions set." Well good for her....and for us.
