Just a few minor moves as we are getting closer and closer to Opening Day 2012. The Yankees, as well as all teams, need to gear up and lock down their rotation spots. That means players get optioned and some guys get released or whatever. Bottom line, things happen so teams get make there roster complete.
Today, Dellin Betances was optioned to AAA. His stats looked good this spring, I can definitely seeing the kid getting called up. 5 appearances and 8 scoreless innings for Betances.
Also, the Yankees announced that Mike O'Connor and Juan Cedeno were re-assigned to minor league camp.
If anything more happens, we will let you know. Also, if you weren't aware of the other cuts, take a moment and read:
WHY THE YANKEE CUTS HAVE BEGUN and WHY THE YANKEES CUT 4 MORE.
