GARCIA LEAVES GAME WITH BRUISED HAND, TAKEN FOR X-RAYS

Yankees right-hander Freddy Garcia left today's game against the Toronto Blue Jays in the fourth inning with a right hand bruise. Garcia is heading back to Tampa for precautionary X-rays.

In the fourth, Garcia took a comebacker, from Toronto left fielder Edwin Encarnacion, off his throwing hand and immediately left the game with Yankee trainers.  Garcia went three-plus innings allowing a run on four hits.  He also walked one and struck out three.

BYB will bring you the latest news on Garcia as it develops...
