WHY SWISHER BLEEDS YANKEE BLUE

The off season is here and I am bored without baseball. I keep wondering and worrying if Nick Swisher will back in pinstripes or traded away for another player. Hell, we all have seen some of our favorites come and go through the years and it's hard sometimes, even as a fan, to not be angry when someone leaves or traded, but hey, that's baseball - right? Not only do we need Nick Swisher to continue his tenure on the Yankees, we need him to have the best season since he's been here next year.

Nick may not be the greatest player in the world...defensively, he's no Derek Jeter or Mark Teixeira, but there something very special about Nick. He brings life to this Yankees team, a team that was always considered too "corporate" before Nick showed up. Now, the boys seem loose, they laugh a lot more and they definitely look like their having fun. Nick's drive, passion and love for not only his team but for everyone around him brings that hopeful feeling out. This guy is genuine and needs to be a permanent fixture in the Bronx.Luckily for us here at WE WANT NICK SWISHER TO HOST SNL and our favorite blog, Bleeding Yankee Blue, we're involved in a voint venture to get the exclusive interview that you've all been waiting for, a chat with Nick Swisher to talk alittle baseball and a lot about what he does off the field, his charity work... Swish's Wishes.

We are hopeful to get this interview for all of you, because let's face it, it's exciting to talk to the guy that's brought such life to the New York Yankees. Keep checking BYB and hopefully soon, our wish will be answered and Nick Swisher will join us.
