HELP THE SABATHIAS HELP YOU!


So look... You know I love the Posada family, right?  They are terrific people and clearly we have similar values when it comes to raising our families.  Laura is genuine and she supports BYB which is something that makes me very happy.

Well, anyone who hangs with the Posadas must be just as terrific! Enter the Sabathia family. They were all together a few weeks ago when Laura tweeted that she walked the catwalk at fashion week in New York City.


I have admired the Sabathias from afar, even to the point where my kid played theirs in Little League this summer and I sat back and smiled watching them root on their son.  You respect big time athletes and their families in those moments.  No, I didn't run up to them and bother them on an "off-day". I let them enjoy their time... I understood it. They don't get much down time, so, when you see them rooting their kid on, you smile and know this is their "family time" and there is no need to interrupt. After all, they were doing what I was doing... give them that. They were "off"... you know what I mean?


So, what the hell am I getting at? This.I will help out the Sabathias, especially when it's for a good cause... in fact, I'm happy to.  CC tweeted something this morning and I want you all to jump in.  It's a raffle and if you win, you get to hang with CC and Amber at Yankee Stadium.

Grand Prize:
  • Winner will receive 2 field MVP tickets to watch the New York Yankees take on the 2012 World Series Champions San Francisco Giants on September 22nd at 1:05 PM at Yankee Stadium
  • Winner will receive 2 tickets to attend an exclusive event after the game at NYY Steak as the personal guests of Amber and CC Sabathia
  • Winner will receive a baseball signed by CC Sabathia
  • Winner will receive an authentic New York Yankees jersey signed by CC Sabathia
  • Winner will have their picture taken with CC Sabathia 
  • Winner will be awarded a cash prize in the amount of $665.00 to mitigate the Winner's tax liability that results from winning the raffle. This prize is withheld and paid, on behalf of the Winner, directly to the IRS ($560.00) and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts ($105.00). The actual amount awarded may be adjusted proportionally based on the value of the actual prizes received.
