THE TANAKA FACT & RUMORS CHECKLIST

Tanaka Mania is silly now.  I keep checking and all I keep seeing is nuggets galore.  None of which are worth a whole post... yet, here I am writing about it because all of Yankeeland is losing sleep over the fact that Tanaka is here in the U.S. and the Yankees need to sign this guy.

We've heard that the Dodgers are ALL IN, only to hear that that's not exactly true. That comes from Bob Nighengale of USA Today. Check it out:

• The Texas Rangers are monitoring Tanaka pretty closely according to reports, read HERE.
• Tanaka's wife is the lovely Mai Satoda.

•  Tanaka's nickname is Mā-kun because the Eagles manager Katsuya Nomura calls Tanaka as "Mā-kun" in interviews.
• It's also rumored that Tanaka loves to watch Will Sasso Vines of this Sasso Lemon compilation.
