THE MARTIAN IS DEPOSITING BOMBS!

There’s no doubt that Jasson Domínguez needs to have a breakout season. The biggest question mark remains his defense in left field, but this year marks the first time the Yankees will truly give him a chance to prove himself. Reports indicate he’s been putting in serious work to improve his glove, which is exactly what fans want to hear.

That said, his bat is where the real excitement lies. Seeing him in the lineup regularly is going to be a game-changer. Just look at what happened during live batting practice—Domínguez crushed a nuke home run off Carlos Rodón, launching it into the second deck at the Yankees’ Tampa facility. I think I'm more concerned about Rodon giving that up and happy that Dominguez crushed it. I kid, I kid.

This came mere hours after he admitted struggling from the right side of the plate last season. If that BP session was any indication, he’s finding his groove again.

Now, I could joke about Rodón serving up that moonshot, but let’s be real—it’s just great to see Domínguez mashing baseballs again. Bleeding Yankee Blue has been all-in on him as an everyday player, and the time has finally come.

Physically, Domínguez is a beast—blazing speed, ridiculous athleticism, and natural instincts that should only sharpen with experience. His defense may still be a work in progress but surrounding him with elite outfielders like Cody Bellinger and Aaron Judge will only accelerate his growth. That trio has the potential to dominate in the Bronx and beyond.

Even Brian Cashman sees it: “I’d like to see him get his shot now.”

The Martian isn’t just knocking on the door—he’s about to kick it down.
