Quick note. With Jose Trevino leaving the Yankees on paternity leave, they needed an extra catcher right? So it makes sense that we grab one. Turns out Ben Rortvedt will be that guy. He's with the team right now in case you didn't see that in last night's game.
WFAN Radio New York writes:
"Rortvedt has heated up in Triple-A, slashing .294/.385/.647 with three home runs over his last 10 games."Don't forget, this guy was recovering from knee surgery when the Yankees got him, so it will be nice to see him finally play in pinstripes. Hopefully we see him this weekend as Trevino lives in Texas and most likely will miss this entire series while on leave.
That's all I got. Stay tuned.
