DON'T HOLD YOU BREATH ON JUDGE RETURNING

Look we don't need the guy, but we want him back. That being said, Aaron Judge won't be back for quite a bit.  The New York Post has this disturbing story:

"Aaron Judge said before the Yankees’ 3-1 win over the Mariners on Thursday night at the Stadium that he’s still experiencing discomfort from his strained left oblique, so he hasn’t begun baseball activities."

Hasn't even begun baseball activities. Wow.

Look, it sucks because everyone is a Judge fan, but here's the thing; The Yankees are winning. We won against the Rays last night 4-3.  It's been quite a ride.  I don't want to dismiss the fact that Judge isn't important right now, but let's face it, he's not.  Neither is Stanton. We need those guys to take their time and get better, all the while letting this young scrappy team work their butts off like they've been doing.

When do I expect Judge back? Mid July. I'm not kidding. It's just one of those things.

Stay tuned.

  1. I said before that my trust in the Yankee medical staff is low. I hope these guys will take all the time they need to get completely well.
