THIS JUDGE INJURY IS A PROBLEM

Aaron Judge is still not better folks, and it's a significant injury that is actually messing with the Yankees right now. We need production... and not having him in the lineup is definitely hurting us.  It may be true that no team has ever won a championship with one star player... but his production out of the lineup is definitely affecting the Yankees performance.

The New York Post has this:

"There was hope that Aaron Judge would be able to take dry swings on Friday for the first time since suffering a chip fracture in his right wrist last month, but once again, pain lingered in the area after playing catch. 'He’s a little sore from throwing,’ Aaron Boone said... Judge received a cortisone shot recently, but Boone said the right fielder won’t necessarily be shut down after feeling discomfort again. 'All in all, it was a good day,’ Boone said. 'He continued to progress. We’ll just see where we’re at day-by-day.'"

Look, the Yankees are 10 and a half out. Getting Judge back tomorrow and hurt isn't smart... it's dumb.  That being said, we need the guy. So what do the Yankees need to do? Let him get healthy and in the meantime, the rest of the team needs to dig deep and cut that 10.5 number the best they can.  It's a horrible situation, but it is what it is.

Get well soon Aaron, we need you buddy.
