This is weird and kind of came out of no where. Orioles player Chris Parmelee is a New York Yankee according to him on Instagram:
Now I just did a search and there you have it. NJ.com writes:
"According to his Instagram, the Yankees have signed former Minnesota Twins and Baltimore Orioles OF/INF Chris Parmelee. The club did not immediately respond to confirm the report."
That's all we got. Lefty bat, first baseman... makes sense. Bottom line, it is true. he signed a minor league contract with the club. The Yankees have alittle support as back up at first and a nice bat.
