We all heard about the news involving Garrett Jones and him signing with the Yomiuri Giants this past week. Read BIG GARRETT JONES GOT A BRAND NEW GIG! for more. Now comes word that another Yankee has signed a deal to play in Japan. This time it's with the Yakult Swallows. It's Kyle Davies.
Hardball Talk wrote this of Davies. The story came from Patrick Newman of NPB Tracker:

"The 32-year-old appeared in just one game for the Yankees in 2015, hurling 2 1/3 scoreless innings. Prior to that, his last exposure to the big leagues was with the Royals in 2011. If he has a nice season overseas, it could lead to the possibility of a career resurgence stateside for the right-hander."
Yakult signs Luis Perez, Kyle Davies and Josh Lueke. I wonder if Lueke will have any trouble getting a work visa. https://t.co/4dvWH0Azyh

Davies will do great in Japan. I always liked what he offered, and as I said about Jones, Japan is a great place to almost reinvent yourself.Wish Davies luck, it's a good move for him.
