SCALPED!

I'm not sure why the Yankees are having so much trouble the Indians... but they are.

Yesterday, on my birthday, with Masahiro Tanaka on the mound, you would almost expect a win, but there was nothing like that.  The Yankees played catch up and the pitching just kept on allowing the Indians to pull ahead.. the pitching, namely 1 guy, more on that in a moment.  Bottom line, it sucks... but sometimes, that's the way the game goes.

Tanaka went 6 innings, giving up 7 hits and 4 runs.  He struck out only 3 and gave up a home run.  Not the lights out pitcher I remember seeing when he first showed up to the Bronx, but maybe that's what we should expect from Tanaka.  Not Amazing, but good enough...sometimes.  The rest of the Yankee pen, and by that I mean Justin Wilson, allowed 3 to the Indians

The Yankee run scoring, or lack there of, went like this:

In the 4th, Greg Bird singled knocking in Carlos Beltran.  In the 8th, Alex Rodriguez singled and Brett Gardner scored. Then, shortly after, it was Bird again, this time reaching on a fielding error.  Chase Headley was able to score in the process.

The Yankees had 8 hits, only 3 runs, left 8 on base and were 3-13 with runners in scoring position.

Today is Jorge Posada Day.  There is no excuse that they shouldn't win, especially in the presence of the Core Four.  It's the right thing to do.  Can we please win a damn game off of Terry Francona and Company? Geez.

Final: Indians 7 - Yankees 3
