BRENDAN RYAN BACK ON TRACK!

Quick note about our friend Brendan Ryan.  He's working his way back.  I'm glad.

According to Times Leader: "Finally, he was able to leave Tampa last week after playing in one rehab game with the T-Yanks and made his way to PNC Field to see action in two games for the RailRiders.

Not only did the eight-year MLB vet miss being with the Big League club, he hasn’t been able to spend time with his newborn baby bay, Hudson James, who is just under six months old. So he’s excited to be working his way back to the Majors.

'Crushing for a lot of reasons. In any order it’s not fun down there in Tampa and anyone that’s telling you it is, is nuts...'”

Playing for the RailRiders is Ryan's last stop before returning to the Bronx. We could really use the guy!  There has been plenty said about the problems with Didi Gregorius and Stephen Drew.  Pressure is building.  Seeing Ryan back could light a fire, and perhaps bring some energy to those positions.

The Times Leader piece is well done by the way. You should check it out. A lot great quotes from Ryan.

And on a personal note, I'll tell you, the part about him not seeing his child enough must drive him crazy I totally get it! I've been lucky enough to chat with Sharyn Ryan about their family recently.
I like the Ryan family alot.  They appear to be real nice people and very kind. Sharyn and Brendan are clearly crazy about each other and I love seeing that stuff.  Hell, a solid family unit is what we're all about here at BYB and that's why I personally root for a guy like Brendan. He works hard. He deserves everything good coming his way.

Keep going kid! Get back to the Bronx!
