ANDRUW JONES HAS STILL GOT IT!

In case you didn't know, Andruw Jones didn't retire from baseball or anything.  Jones was playing ball in Japan where he played first base and a tiny bit of outfield.

Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe wrote this about Jones:

"After two seasons with Rakuten in Japan, where he hit 26 home runs with 94 RBIs (.845 OPS) and 24 homers with 71 RBIs (.820 OPS), with OBPs of .391 and .394, Jones will be returning to major league baseball. Agent Scott Boras claims there are at least two teams interested in Jones as a DH and/or righthanded platoon player.

A 10-time Gold Glove outfielder, Jones would return with 434 homers and 1,289 RBIs."

You gotta wonder who those teams are.  Obviously it's a team with the need for some bat power.  The Yankees would never look Jones' way at this point.  Not that they don't appreciate Jones, they just really don't need the guy. We have Carlos Beltran and Alex Rodriguez... they're all pretty similar at this point, aren't they?

Whatever the case, we just wanted to give you an update on Andruw Jones. A good Yankee, a great player for alot of years and we wish the guy well.
