There is more news about players avoiding arbitration. According to several reports, but we'll go with NJ.com on this one:
"The team announced that it has reached one-year deals with... David Carpenter... The Yankees have also reached a deal with Nathan Eovaldi for one year and $3.3 million, according to multiple reports.
The Yankees acquired Carpenter on New Years Day from the Braves in a trade for Manny Banuelos."
Good for Nathan and Carpenter. So... can we play ball already???
