YANKEES HITTING COACH? NOPE

Remember when the Yankees were close to picking a hitting coach? I had written YANKEES MAY HAVE FOUND THEIR HITTING & 1ST BASE COACH on December 6th.  It was then that we were convinced a hitting coach could be chosen soon.  We wrote then that the coach "...being considered is Jody Reed.

As far as the first base coach, the Yankees interviewed Willie Randolph for the job."

Then... nothing.

According to the New York Post, the Yankees might be waiting until the start of the new year.

"'I am not doing anything with the coaches until the holidays are over,’ the general manager said Monday."

In other words, we got nothing.  The only other report was that the Yanks were looking at former Marlins' & Dodgers' guy, Jeff Pentland. You can read about that HERE.  Again, there's still no word on when and if that will even happen.

I guess now we wait...again.

That's all I got.
