TAMING THE TIGER
David Price got rocked and the Yankee offense was alive and well tonight. Price only lasted 2 innings. My goodness... you gotta love it if you're a Yankee fan.
Let's get right to the offense. In the 3rd inning, there were 8 runs scoring for New York.
Derek Jeter doubled knocking in Jacoby Ellsbury. Mark Teixeira then doubled and Jeter scored. Beltran then singled and Martin Prado scored. Next, Brian McCann singled knocking in a run. Brett Gardner singled and Carlos Beltran scored. Francisco Cervelli then singled and McCann scored.
After that, Ellsbury sacrificed home Chase Headley. Next, Jeet sacrificed home Gardy. That was the rally, and that my friends was a great inning!
Shane Greene started for the Yankees. He went 7 innings, gave up only 5 hits and 2 runs. Adam Warren then gave up a run and so did Dellin Betances, but luckily for the Yankees and Yankee fans.... that big Yankee inning saved the team, and gave us fans alittle more hope.
I like runs... let's hope they have plenty more in them! Go Yanks!
