In case you didn't hear about it, Manny Banuelos has been shut down. No, he's not hurt, we don't think at least. And he claims to not be sore. He is however tired and according to Nick Perfullo:
Banuelos himself said issue was more fatigue than soreness. Right now, is scheduled for 3 days off then catch on Thursday

OK then. Sounds good, right? Well not exactly. According to Matt Kardos, the Trenton Thunder manager said that Manny could possibly go to the DL.
Franklin says a DL trip is possible for Banuelos but has not been discussed as of yet. He will be evaluated in a few days.

I swear, if I hear DL one more time this month, I am going to scream. Not to mention, we have all been waitng for ManBan to blossom, and it seems like it's taking forever. Let's hope it is just fatigue... and nothing else. This season for Banuelos, in 4 games he is 0-1 with a 5.59 ERA. 9.2 innings... 9 strikeouts. He was in Tampa before Trenton this season. But in Trenton, hardly a danger, but let's give it some time. I'm not about to give up on this guy yet.
Get well soon Manny.
