AJ BURNETT IS A PHILLIE... OK THEN

I didn't know why AJ Burnett left Pittsburgh in the first place.  It was a city that loved him, but I guess he and the Pirates just didn't want to make a deal. Or, maybe he just wanted to change it up...who knows.  Whatever the case, AJ Burnett is a Philadelphia Phillie tonight.

According to CBSSports.com: "The Phillies have agreed to terms with veteran right-hander A.J. Burnett on a one-year contract."

According to a whole bunch of "sources", the deal is worth 1 year, $16 million.

Hey... good for him.

So for all of you that were worried that AJ would wind up in the Bronx 1 more time... you can "sigh."

Good luck AJ... I know you're Batman.
