That report is coming from many, but we'll use Joel Sherman of the New York Post:
#Mets have a 4-yr agreement with Curtis Granderson, the Post has learned
— Joel Sherman (@Joelsherman1) December 6, 2013
Now it's amazing. I am very, very happy for Curtis. I always liked the guy, much like I used to like Robinson Cano. What makes this deal so lovable though is because Granderson didn't overstep. Curtis asked for 4 years... and while the Mets originally didn't want to do it, they met him in the middle, no pun intended, and made the deal happen. Curtis will be fine in Citifield despite what many think. And another thing... Curtis is a leader as well and he'll grab the reigns and help that Mets club try and win. It's good for both parties... I am truly happy for Granderson. Good luck pal.
