THE YANKS ARE MARCHING IN

Here come the Yanks... believe us.  Believe in them.  When their backs are against the wall and many lose hope, they do magical things.  I have never liked watching my team playing that way.  I always want to see sure dominance because they're the Yankees... but I'll take what I can get. Last night they showed us they still have much left in the tank... and it's glorious...

Andy Pettitte pitched 6.1 innings last night.  He gave up 9 hits and only 3 runs.  He looked good.  He looked dominant.  He looked like Andy Pettitte.  The Yankees contributed to help their mighty pitcher...

In the first inning, Robinson Cano grounded out but Brett Gardner scored in the process.  In the 5th inning, Curtis Granderson homered. In the 6th, Alex Rodriguez, who looks like he's finally rolling, hit a solo homer as well.  Then, with the game tied 3-3 in the 9th, Robinson Cano homered making it 4-3.  That was followed by a Lyle Overbay single scoring Grandyman. When the Orioles came up, Brian Roberts knocked in a run... but it wasn't enough, the Yankees held them, David Robertson got the Win and we keep on moving forward.... it's all we can do right now... we're the Yankees, we MUST win.

Final: Yankees 5 - Orioles 3
