Remember when RA Dickey hit Jayson Nix with a knuckle ball the other night and word spread that he fractured his wrist? (Read HERE), Well, According to Newsday and other sources... he's probably out for the remainder of the 2013 season.
Newsday writes: "Asked before Thursday afternoon's series finale at the Stadium if Nix is done for the season, Yankees manager Joe Girardi sighed and said, 'We haven't got a timetable, but my guess would be yes.'''
Nix had a good run with the Yankees this season and was given a whole lot of opportunities and handled it pretty well. We wrote about him in our BYB piece, WE STRUCK GOLD WITH JAYSON NIX, Read it, it's great!
We'll let you know if the guy is expected the come back... but let's assume not.
