Just a quick note to keep you in the loop on "Yankee activity" as I like to call it. When the Yankees activated Curtis Granderson yesterday, they had to make a roster move, so they did. Thomas Neal was designated for assignment, according to Bryan Hoch at MLB.com in his tweet below:
Curtis Granderson activated by Yankees, batting fifth. Melky Mesa sent to AAA and Thomas Neal DFA.It went like this; First, Alfonso Soriano was traded for and Thomas Neal was sent down the AAA. Then the Yankees activated Grandy and Melky Mesa was sent to AAA and that left Neal as the guy to be DFA'd.

Roster moves are never easy, I hope we're able to hang onto Neal, I like the guy. Good luck Thomas!
