ALEX RODRIGUEZ SPEAKS & BLEEDING YANKEE BLUE HAS IT!

There has been way to much blabber from both the media and from Bud Selig on the "suspension of Alex Rodriguez". So, in an act of fairness... here's Alex in his own words on all this stuff, and it was stated at his press conference after the Trenton Thunder game when he hit a home run a few nights ago... check this out:

ARod on returning to the Yankees Monday night:
"I think it's possible... Unless I get hit by lightning, and these days you never know."

 ARod on PEDs:
"I think that's the pink elephant in the room... I think we all agree that we want to get rid of PEDs. That's a must. I think all the players feel that way. But when all the stuff is going on in the background and people are finding creative ways to cancel your contract, I think that's concerning for me. It's concerning for present [players] and it should be concerning for future players as well. There is a process. I'm excited about the way I feel tonight and I'm going to keep fighting."
ARod on what his role is with the Yankees and the pending suspension:
"My job is to do everything I can physically and mentally to help my team win... As far as all the legal stuff, to me it's been confusing. The one thing I've gotten from so many people, so many fans, some teammates, they're like, 'What is going on?... I think there's a lot of people that are confused, a lot of people that don't understand the process. I will say this: There is more than one party that benefits from me not ever stepping back on the field. That's not my teammates and that's not the Yankee fans."
I found that paragraph to be the most important one.  In this crazy witch hunt (and I call it that because lately I've been feeling as though if Bud Selig really had big evidence, this would be a no brainer for him to just suspend Alex for "life" as the media claims right away, but that hasn't happened.)

Each day that goes by makes me wonder... what does MLB have and will they ever show it to the public? Well, as a fan who pays Alex Rodriguez's salary, I want to know what that evidence is. I'm not saying Alex is innocent, I don't know if he took steroids or not, but we're all invested in this... not just Alex and if Major League Baseball REALLY and TRULY has something, I want to know what it is... and you should too.

Oh, and I just wanted to clarify for anyone who was confused by the pink elephant reference.  An  "Elephant in the room" is an English metaphorical idiom for an obvious truth that is either being ignored or going unaddressed. The idiomatic expression also applies to an obvious problem or risk no one wants to discuss." That's according to Wikipedia.  Not sure what a "'Pink elephant' in the room" is...do you?
