THE YANKEES GET "TITANIC"

The Yankees have nothing in the tank, huh? I know the Rays are hot right now, but come on... how do the Yankees not even score 1 run?  Look, I believe in my Yankees... but maybe I believe in them too much.  Maybe I need to sit back, maybe NOT watch them and live my life alittle bit and come back and check in.  Sometimes I feel like I do this to my team, like I make them lose...  Like, sometimes I turn the TV on and the Yankees are up 5-2 for example.  Then, there's a 3 run homer and it's tied up and I feel like I've blown it because I watched.  I hate that feeling and now, right now I feel like it's my fault or something... OR, the Yankees just suck, one or the other.

Whatever the case, the Yankees are sinking like the Titanic and we need to turn this around.  Sure this Eastern division is tight... the Yankees still have a shot, but we need to click together and right now... we ain't.

The pitching today was terrific.  Ivan Nova went 7 innings, allowed 6 hits and only 1 run.  Great stuff, right? DRob and Shawn Kelley each pitched wonderfully.  I mean, they kept a hot Rays team to 1 run all game... 1 RUN! We can come back from 1 run... but no... we didn't.

2 hits today by the Yankee bats... Brett Gardner had a double and Lyle Overbay had a hit.  Alfonso Soriano looks like we just added an old guy into the already old lineup.  I know it's only game 2, but we need to figure this out. 

There's not much more... so I'm doing what I think is a good solution tonight. I'm taking my kid out for a slice of pizza, maybe I'll have a Dos Equis... and I'm going to pray tonight that the Yankees can turn this terrible season around... we have to, before it's too late.
