MIGUEL CAIRO RETIRES

Quick note. Miguel Cairo, a great utility guy for the New York Yankees has decide to call it quits after 17 years in the major leagues.  Read about it HERE. He is going to work in the Cincinnati Reds front office.  Good for him.

Cairo was a good Yankee, a good solider who did whatever the Yankees needed  in 2004 and then again in 2006 and 2007. His total numbers for the Yankees were 185 for 689 with just 6 home runs and .269 batting average.  He played for 9 teams and ended his career with the Reds.

Good luck Miguel... it was fun.
