HEATH BELL IS NOT GOING TO THE YANKEES

Why you ask? That's because he was just dealt to the Arizona Diamondbacks.  Another reason why that Alex Rodriguez trade to the Marlins was ridiculous.  Remember? Bell was the name attached to that bogus trade rumor, read HERE.

Anyway, as far as this trade goes, it was a three-team deal involving a few players.  Bottom line, Heath Bell was sent to the Arizona Diamondbacks along with the A's Cliff Pennington and minor leaguer Yordy Cabrera.

The A's get Chris Young and cash.  Cabrera was then sent to the Miami Marlins for Bell and cash.  You can read all about in this AP article HERE

Look, it has nothing to do with the Yanks, I just thought it was interesting considering Bell just signed with the Marlins last season and he's already gone... whatever. It's baseball Suzyn, you never can predict it.
