So Roger Clemens has been acquitted of federal perjury charges. Clemens was charged with lying to Congress by testifying in 2008 that he never used performance-enhancing drugs. He was also accused of obstructing Congress and making false statements.
So years later and millions of dollars spent later Clemens has cleared his name, at least in the court system. Whether Clemens will ever be able to clear his name in the court of pubic opinion is a whole other story.
