BAD YANKEE NUMBERS WILL FORCE MOTIVATION

No one likes bad stats.  The Yankees can claim they don't look at numbers and don't watch the scoreboard this early on, but I'm telling you this; it doesn't matter how old you are, if you're in the baseball business, you love it and most likely you've been tallying stats in your head since little league.

So, you want to barf? These numbers are courtesy of the New York Post and if the Yankees don't realize just how bad they are then they need to look at these stats...this will help turn it around for my Yankees because bottom line, no one likes to suck.  This my friends is motivation for my guys...Go Yankees!

.101: Average with runners in scoring position over the last 10 games (8-79).

.223: Average with runners in scoring position for season.

.195: Average (8-41) with the bases loaded this season, 12th out of 14 AL teams.

.337: Average with the bases loaded last season, best in the AL

59: At-bats without a homer for Nick Swisher, who is hitting .179 (10 for 56) in his last 15 games.

.150: Alex Rodriguez's average with runners in scoring position this season (6 for 40). ARod has gone 52 at bats without a homer.

.167: Robinson Cano's average with runners in scoring position (6 for 36), compared to his .304 overall average.

.386: Mark Teixeira's slugging percentage, next to last among Yankees regulars.

True motivation starts now.
