Simply put, Girardi's back for 3 years, $9 million. While there are reports that the deal is nearly complete, my source tells me the deal is done.Once this story is concluded, the Yankees have other signings to focus on beyond Girardi. Jeter will most likely be next as well as Mo, both of which should resign with the Yanks, unless something terribly goes wrong in negotiations.
Imagine Jeter and Mo not on the Yankees. Now don't... it's too difficult to think about.
