The Yankees are in full-on arm-hoarding mode, and their latest addition is veteran right-hander Carlos Carrasco, who signed a minor league deal with an invite to spring training, per multiple reports.
Turning 38 in March, Carrasco is coming off a tough 2023 season with the Guardians, where he went 3-10 with a 5.64 ERA over 21 starts. But with 15 big-league seasons under his belt, a 110-103 career record, and a 4.14 ERA across 324 games (277 starts), he brings experience and depth to a Yankees squad that has been stockpiling pitching all offseason.
Just another solid move in their quest for a deep rotation.
