NEW BOONE "WORD SALAD" REACHES A NEW LEVEL OF STUPID!

The writing is on the wall.... Marcus Stroman's career in pinstripes is on life support. Yankee fans know this, hell even baseball fans in general know this. However, Aaron Boone is singing a completely different tune and it's stupidly pathetic.

Boone says a lot of stupid things, but I think he may have set a new record for his level of stupidity this time, read more HERE. Now personally, I couldn't care less why Stroman scrubbed the Yankees from his Instagram account, but it's been a topic of conversation for a while now. Let him pout and carry on however he wants but we all know this business relationship just isn't working but if Stroman wants to be dramatic about it, so be it.

Boone is doing more of his Boone babble though and trying to spin this a different direction in hopes some team is going to buy the BS....but no one smart is going to buy this. So "the unfollow was a standard scrub that he does that was actually very coincidental," Boone said in his first serving of word salad. Gotta love those every day "standard" coincidences, right? I mean, I hear and see those EVERY DAY, don't you? Yeah....says no one EVER. So lemme get this straight Boonie, it's normal for Stroman to delete his social media connections but deleting the Yankees was purely unplanned? Gimme a break.

But it gets better, folks. Everyone knows that right now Stroman has no clear-cut defined role on this team, including Stroman. "Acknowledging there's some awkwardness with, where does he slot in? The reality is, I'm getting him ready to go. We're gonna get him ready to start. We're such a long way away from now and Opening Day," said Boone. True, we are a long way from Opening Day so anything can happen but let's be real here and cut the crap the only place the Yankees are HOPING he is ready to go is to another team far far away. So yes, they are getting him ready to start to try and make him as attractive as humanly possible to literally any other team.

But wait, there's more! "To me, he's in a really good spot. It is what it is, the situation. There's obviously been a lot of noise around it. I'm sure on some level he's heard that and gets that. I had a very good talk with him … He and I have a very good relationship." said Boone. This is where I laugh. There has been a lot of noise on this, so he's very aware of where he stands so it not just on "some level." Not to mention it is just incredibly stupid for Boone to say he is in a "really good spot" when the guy literally has no role on this team (he knows it) AND the Yankees have been trying to move him for months now (he knows that too). How on earth could he be in a really good spot? Seriously, the Yankees don't want him to start, have no idea what to do with him if they can't move him and they can't get another team to bite right now. That's the opposite of being in a really good spot. It's the most ridiculous serving of Word Salad that Boone could dish out.

So what have we learned? Boone can't sell snow to an Eskimo. He literally needs to stop talking because the Yankees don't need any more embarrassing Word Salad occurrences. We get it, protect your guy and be supportive because you can't appear to be doing anything different.... but you aren't fooling anyone.
