With all the moves this winter for the new Yankees outfield, there is much speculation about what will happen to Jasson Dominguez. I mean when this guy came up, he immediately impressed the Yankee fan base as well as Yankee management. He just appeared to be a natural. But now the outfield is crowded, and so what happens to Dominguez? Well, NJ.com knows...
"The expectation when Domínguez underwent elbow surgery was that the 20-year-old would be available to return from the 60-day injured list over the summer in 2024, probably around the All-Star break. At that point, he’d be able to build on the historic numbers he produced during his first taste of big-league action: four home runs, seven RBI and six runs scored over his first 33 plate appearances. There was always a chance, however, that Domínguez could breeze through his rehab and be ready earlier than that, perhaps at some point during the first half of the year."
Whatever happens, I look forward to seeing this young man back on the team real soon. This is very good news!
