Season saved. Yanks are looking great. Have I failed to mention all season that hitting was the Yankees problem? Oh, I didn't? Well, someone needs to tell Brian Cashman who is literally chipping away at lost soldiers in his way to duct tape this team together like every other Yankees off-season. DOES NO ONE SEE THIS AS THE SAME AS ANY OTHER YEAR? AM I LIVING ON BIZARRO WORLD? Well, don't worry, we just got another pitcher for "bullpen security". We're good now.
The New York Post writes:
"The Yankees are adding a young arm to increase their bullpen depth.Yerry De Los Santos, who spent the last two seasons with the Pirates, has reached agreement with the Yankees on a contract, according to his representatives from Epitome Sports Management, who announced the deal Monday on X, formerly known as Twitter.
De Los Santos, 25, appeared in 22 games last season for the Pirates and pitched to a 3.33 ERA."
I have no doubt that Los Santos can help. But also? Not what the Yankees need.
I'm so disenchanted by this Yankees front office. Honestly? Do better.
