At least there's some good news coming. I know, I know, what we really need is offense and good leadership, but pitching will help as well.
The New York Post says Carlos Rodon is coming. I cannot wait. They said of Rodon that he is...
"...scheduled to begin a rehab assignment Tuesday with Double-A Somerset.Rodon will likely need three rehab starts, according to manager Aaron Boone, before pitching his first game since he signed a six-year, $162 million contract last offseason. If he does not experience any setbacks during his rehab assignment, Rodon’s first Yankees start could come in the first week of July."
Now there is no question the Yankees are in a bad rut. Even yesterday morning I had reported that Harrison Bader was gonna be in Fenway last night. Then we had to change the story with an update. Just madness and annoying. See in THINGS ARE ABOUT TO GET BADER.
Last night's loss was awful and embarrassing. The Yankee need to tighten the screws now. There is no other way around this. Good baseball will turn it around. And by the way, hey Yankee fans base... STOP THINKING THAT AARON JUDGE IS OUR ONLY HOPE! We have to tools; we don't have a manager that understands how to manage during difficult times. This is nothing new. Boone is not qualified just like Dillon Lawson is not. This comes from the top. Bottom line.
Yanks need a leader, a motivator... a person that understands this game and can guide them. Add in a few players that have the talent and we will reinject a winning philosophy.
But it's almost July... we need to move quicker.
