I'm sure Gallo wants to prove that his second year in the Bronx won't be like his first, but he's got a long way to go. I have no faith in the guy to be a consistent and productive player but that doesn't mean I want to see him fail either. I am just tired of seeing the same failures over and over again. We are all calling it like we see it....except for Bonehead Boone.
Speaking of progress, where is it? I don't call stranding five runners and 15 hitless appearances with a .154BA a lot to like. Spring may not count, but it's also not a confidence booster going into the regular season knowing you haven't found a good groove. But don't worry....because Boone isn't either, you can read HERE for yourself.
I want to see Gallo succeed while he is here....but it looks like he's picked up right where he left off last season. He's Kallo the strikeout king and Boone is an idiot if he thinks he's magically a different hitter because of one game.
Boone is still a bonehead who says stupid things and Gallo is still a strikeout king. But don't worry....everything's okay.
