SABATHIA OUT... I SAW IT COMING

I knew it! When CC came in to field that slow dribbler on Sunday between he and Austin Romine, he slipped, but got down to the ground and made the throw.  I was convinced then he may be hurt.  Turns out he twisted something.

Bleacher Report has this:

"The New York Yankees announced they placed pitcher CC Sabathia on the 10-day disabled list with right knee inflammation Monday."

CC believes he'll only miss one start, but you know how it goes when it comes to the Yankees... I'm predicting 2 starts.

Whatever the case, it sucks. CC pitched his heart out Sunday... he really did a great job.  We need more heart.
