CLEVELAND COLLAPSE! ALCS HERE WE COME!

The comeback kids pulled it off! I'm shaking as I type this. The Yankees fought back from a 2-0 deficit and won the last three games in heroic fashion. The Yankees have dethroned last years AL champions and are headed to Houston!

The Yankees were never considered to be a contender this season. Sports analysts everywhere said it would take another one or two years to get where we are right now. Then of course the betting community jumped in and widely agreed. Las Vegas placed its bets and even a large group from my job did. Looks like Vegas lost a lot of money last night and so did everyone in my office. Every single person picked Cleveland to win and most of them had them winning in the World Series but they won't get that ring this year.

The Chicago Cubs ended their drought last year and was an eternity for Cubs fans. For Yankees fans it has been a five year dry spell and while it doesn't compare this feels like a long time coming. Cleveland's Series drought turns 70 next year and will be baseball's longest dry spell. It sucks to be an Indian's fan right now.

But it's great to be a Yankees fan right now. It's great to be the Underdog that proves everyone wrong and WAIT...I AGREE WITH DAVID ORTIZ?! is still weird, especially since he was right.

The Yankees survived Cy Young candidate Corey Kluber not once, but twice and in both games he gave up runs in the first inning and failed to pitch deep into the game. Trevor Bauer fooled the Yankees in game 1, but faltered on short rest in game 4. The Yankees managed Andrew Miller and in the end the Yankees beat the team with baseball's best record and Terry Francona, one of the smartest managers in the game. I wonder if he still has a job after today...

The Yankees pulled off a miraculous win and without a lot of help from two of their biggest bats Gary Sanchez and Aaron Judge. If the Yankees are going to get past the Houston Astros they are going to need to be consistent and hit! The Astros are no joke and just because the Yankees beat the World Series favorite does not mean the Astros will be an easy challenge.

It's about to get REAL. The Yankees better rest up today because old friends Brian McCann and Carlos Beltran are waiting. Oh and so are Justin Verlander and Dallas Keuchel. Last time we saw Keuchel in the postseason it wasn't a happy ending and he is starting Game 1.

Revenge, anyone? Houston....here we come!
