YANKS WIN, JUDGE LOSES...

If you could break into Yankee stadium and find the piece of Aaron Judge's tooth to put in a glass case... would you? I would.

That's right. The Yankees won last night.  Aaron Judge helped in the walk-off celebration, and with all the chaos and excitement of them winning 4 in a row... Judge got slammed in the face with a helmet and chipped his tooth and lost part of it.

Andrew Marchand of ESPN writes:

"The Yankees' Aaron Judge broke a tooth while celebrating Brett Gardner's game-winning home run in the 11th inning of the team's 6-5 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays.

In the clubhouse afterward, some Yankees gathered at their lockers to study video of the celebration on their phones as if it were the Zapruder film. There was no consensus as to what exactly happened, but replays appeared to show Gardner's helmet ending up in the scrum and knocking the 6-foot-7 Judge back like an uppercut.

Video replays were not conclusive, but it seemed as if the helmet was on the back of catcher Austin Romine as he jumped up and down with Gardner."

I love this description of how things went down. It's almost sarcastic. I mean look, Judge is a big Yankee star now, but it's a tooth. My 14 year old got his tooth chipped off.  He had to get it bonded and it sucks but that's life.  I feel bad for the guy, but come on, Tooth gate? Really?

Anyway... the Yanks won.  I'm happy. It's Friday. I can't wait to get home from work, crack open a Corona and chill.  This week was brutal... I deserve it dammit.
