GENTRY SAYS THE YANKEES SHOULD SIGN MIKE OLT

Who's Gentry you ask? It's T. Frank Gentry, former BYB writer... Yankee fan... BYB fan and smart, smart dude.   It just goes to show that you don't need "official" baseball insiders to make smart predictions, and even if this prediction by Gentry doesn't go the Yankees way... it's still smart and that's why we love our BYB audience.  You're all smart as hell.

As you know, the Yankees are looking for alittle backup stability at 3rd base because they're afraid Chase Headley will continue to make a ton of errors in 2016.  Rob Refsnyder is an option, but there's another idea.

This could fall right in the Yankees lap if they play their cards right.  Gentry put this tweet out just alittle while ago:
Nice!  CBS Local adds to the story:

"The White Sox released infielder Mike Olt on Tuesday and made three more moves to trim their spring roster to 50 players.

Olt, 27, was acquired on a waiver from the Cubs last September. He hit .203 with three homers, four RBIs and a .584 OPS in 86 plate appearances across 24 games for the White Sox in 2015. Olt’s a career .168 hitter."

Bottom line, it's a smart idea, and it makes sense.
