Guess what, Ike Davis signing with the Yankees is a real thing idea, and it's being considered and it should be considered... especially if it's a minor league deal.
According to Ken Davidoff of the New York Post, he tweeted this:
Ike Davis is expected to sign a minor-league contract shortly. The #Yankees are in the mix.— Ken Davidoff (@KenDavidoff) February 10, 2016
NJ.com writes, "With Greg Bird (shoulder surgery) out for the season, the Yankees are thin at first base depth and it's likely that Davis — if he were to take a deal with New York — would become the club's Triple-A first baseman. "
I like this idea alot, it gives us alittle depth. If Davis signs in the Bronx, we will let you know!
Stay tuned.
