ANDREW BAILEY BAILS FOR PHILLY
Andrew Bailey has a new team... the Philadelphia Phillies. Bailey signed a minor league deal with the Phillies and here's the report from NJ.com... check it out:
"Andrew Bailey pitched in 10 games for the Yankees in 2015 after two years away from baseball because of major arm injuries.
The results, though, weren't what what he or the team wanted—Bailey allowed five earned runs in just 8.2 innings. After the season, New York declined to pick up his option.
But on Thursday the former Rookie of the Year found a new home. Bailey, 31, signed a minor league contract with the Phillies which includes an invitation to spring training as a non-roster invitee."
Not the biggest news, but important we at least bring you the story.
